Running Boards for Other Pickups: Ridgeline, Titan, Maverick, Cybertruck and R1T

Yes for the Titan and for some Ridgeline years, on maker guides we read. For the Maverick, Cybertruck and R1T, we read no maker part list at all. We have no Amazon listing in our data for any of these five, and we did not search for them by name. So this page gives you maker part numbers to look up and no buy button.

Straight answer

ARIES lists parts for the Nissan Titan 2004-2024 and for the 2017-2018 Honda Ridgeline, and Westin lists mount kits for older years of both. No guide we read names a Ford Maverick, Cybertruck or Rivian R1T. We have no Amazon listing in our data for these trucks. Never carry a part over from another truck. Confirm your exact year and cab with the maker before you buy.

What's on this page

A running board is a step mounted below a truck's doors that makes it easier to climb in and out. Each part is built for specific model years and cabs, sometimes bed lengths. These five trucks get few listings and little paper, so this page sticks to who says what.

The answer, truck by truck

Read November 2, 2026. Parts are from the makers' own guides. "None read" means none in what we read, not that none exists.

Those mount kit rows are for brackets, and a board goes on top of them. See running board brackets. Confirm your exact year and cab with the maker. If you find a listing, check your exact year and cab on the listing before you buy.

Honda Ridgeline

The ARIES table puts the Ridgeline in the crew column and nowhere else, so cab is less of a trap here. Years are the trap. ARIES's AdvantEDGE 2556030 lists the 2017 and 2018 Ridgeline only, with a no-drill install on VersaTrac brackets #2055130. Its 3-inch Round guide jumps back to 2006-2014. Westin's mount kit table also covers 2006-2014.

So nothing we read names a 2019-up truck. We also looked for Honda's own accessory running boards, since "OEM" is a common search. Honda's site blocked our reader, so we state no part or fit from Honda. A Honda parts desk can look it up by VIN. Romik's site refused us as well.

Nissan Titan and Titan XD

The Titan has the best paper of the five. ARIES's ActionTrac 3047960 lists the Titan Crew Cab 2004-2024 and Titan XD Crew Cab 2016-2024, and it says "Rated for 650 lbs. static weight capacity (limited to mounting structure)". That rating belongs to that part. The ARIES page has the rest of the line.

Two things to read closely on the Titan's second cab, which ARIES's cab table calls King and its guides call Extended Cab:

  • The VersaTrac guide lists Extended Cab 04-18 with bracket 2055142.
  • The bracket's own page lists 2004-2015 and 2017-2018, with no 2016.

If you have a 2016 King Cab, ask ARIES. Also, the guide lists the crew through 2024 and no further, and we read nothing on later trucks. Westin's mount kit row for the Titan stops at 2015, and it names no cab.

Ford Maverick

ARIES's cab table lists the Maverick as crew only, and that is all we could read. No ARIES guide we opened has a Maverick row, and neither do Westin's Pro-e and mount kit tables. Search results show other makers' names on shop pages, but Go Rhino's product page redirected us to a page with no readable content, so we state no part from it.

Cybertruck and Rivian R1T

We read nothing from a maker on either truck. The maker pages for EV parts refused to open for us, and owner forums aren't a source here. ARIES's cab table and Westin's two tables don't list them. So we have no part numbers, no fit and no load figure.

Don't buy a part unless it names your exact truck and model year. Do running boards fit all trucks? explains why. The hoop steps on our hoop step page don't help either: Carr's sheet lists none of these five, and Bully and DNA titles name makes and no models.

What to check on any of these trucks

Maker data is thin, so the steps below matter more than usual.

  1. Get the name of your cab. How to tell which cab you have covers it, and bed and cab fitment explains why length matters on wheel-to-wheel parts.
  2. Find a part that names your truck and years. A brand's catalog beats a marketplace title. Look up the part number in the maker's guide.
  3. Run the listing through a check. How to check a listing fits shows how.
  4. Get a load figure only from the maker's document for that part. See how much weight running boards hold.

Closest pages we do cover

Mid-size owners should see the Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier and Tacoma pages, but those parts are listed for those trucks and do not carry over. Everything else is on all trucks, and our rules are on how we verify fitment.

Tailgate questions

Are there running boards for a 2019 or newer Honda Ridgeline?

None in the guides we read. ARIES's VersaTrac guide stops its Ridgeline row at 2017-2018, and Westin's mount kit table stops at 2014. That means we have nothing to show you, not that none exists. Honda's site and Romik's site both refused to open for us, so ask a Honda parts desk or the maker directly.

Will Nissan Frontier running boards fit a Titan?

Do not assume it. Each part is built for specific model years and cabs. ARIES gives the Titan its own bracket number, and the Frontier part in our data names only the Frontier. Use a part that names your Titan, its years and its cab, and confirm with the maker before you order.

Are there rock sliders for the Rivian R1T or Cybertruck?

People search for them, but we read no maker page for either truck, because the maker pages would not open for us. So we state no part, no fit and no load figure. Forum posts are not a source here. Go to the maker of the part you are considering, and get the fit for your model year in writing.

Fitment, buying advice and explainers

We are the editorial team at runningboardsfortrucks.com. We read listing titles, maker pages and instruction sheets, then write down which truck, year and cab each one states and where we read it. We do not run lab tests and we do not own a test fleet, and we say so openly.

  • Fit quoted from the listing or maker
  • Sources and dates on every page
  • No lab tests, stated openly
