OEDRO Running Boards: What Is Listed by Truck, Warranty and Rated Load
OEDRO sells bolt-on running boards and side steps cut for specific trucks, mostly carbon steel with 6-inch steps on the pages we read. Its site advertises a 1-year warranty. Load figures are the weak spot: one page rates a part per side, others state no figure. We have one Amazon listing in our data, the Drop Down for the 2005-2023 Tacoma Double Cab.

Straight answer
OEDRO's own pages list crew cab parts for the Silverado and Sierra, new-body Ram 1500 and Colorado and Canyon, plus Tacoma Double Cab parts. They state a 1-year warranty and no cutting or drilling. Rated load varies: one Tacoma page says up to 450 lbs per side, and the others we read state none. Check your exact year and cab on the listing before you buy.
Who is behind OEDRO
Less is known here than you would want. The site at oedro.com presents itself as an auto parts seller, with running boards next to floor mats, tonneau covers, storage boxes, bumpers and towing mirrors. The help page gives an email and a phone line but no company name beyond Oedro and no street address. We could not establish who owns the brand or who builds the parts.
There is a second name on the same store. Pages on oedro.com also sell YITAMOTOR-branded running boards, and nothing we read explains how the two relate. So when a search for OEDRO lands you on a YITAMOTOR part, take it as a separate listing with its own specs.
The one OEDRO listing in our data sits in the mid-range price class. We do not print amounts.
What OEDRO lists, by truck
Fit below is what OEDRO's own page states, read 2 November 2026. It is the maker's wording, not our conclusion. This is a sample of the pages we read and not the whole catalog.
| Truck, as stated | Page says | Material | Rated load stated | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab | 6-inch side pedals, bolt-on drop side step | Carbon steel | None | 1 year |
| 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab/Crew Cab | Drop-down side steps | Carbon steel | "up to 450 lbs per side" | 1 year |
| 2019-2026 Dodge Ram 1500 New Body Crew Cab, "Not For Classic Models" | 6-inch side pedals | Carbon steel | None | 1 year |
| 2019-2026 Silverado and Sierra 1500 Crew Cab, 2020-2026 2500HD and 3500HD Crew Cab | 6-inch side pedals, two-stair step | Carbon steel | No number | 1 year |
Our search of OEDRO's site also turned up Colorado and Canyon crew cab parts. We did not find an F-150 SuperCrew page from OEDRO in those results, which does not mean none exists. If you drive a Ram 1500, the Classic and new body are separate listings here too.
Now for the wording to watch. OEDRO's 2024-2026 Tacoma page adds "(4 Full Size Doors=1:0.75)" after the cab, and it does not explain that note. Its home page advertises "Guaranteed Fitment". We would not rest on that. Provide your truck details on the page as it asks, and compare the doors. The cab name matters on a Tacoma, because the Tacoma's cab names do not work like a Silverado's.

Why it makes the list
- Title names drop-down style, years and cab
Watch out for
- Listing data only
- No weight rating in the title, so none is printed here
Best for: 2005-2023 Double Cab owners comparing drop steps.
Listing data only: We only have the Amazon listing title for this one, no maker sheet. It is an option, not a recommendation.
This is listing data only. The title gives no part number, so we could not tie it to one of OEDRO's own pages, and the specs on the table above may or may not be this part. Compare the drop step against what the listing shows. Check your exact year and cab on the listing before you buy.
Rated load: read this before you trust a number
We print load ratings from the maker's own document, and never from a seller title or a dealer page. OEDRO is a thin case for that rule, because its product page is the only document we have, not a spec sheet.
Here is what it comes to. One OEDRO page gives a figure with a basis, up to 450 lbs per side. That is for one 2024-2026 Tacoma part. The other OEDRO pages we read give no number, and one of those only says "High Load Capacity". YITAMOTOR pages on the same store show their own figures for other Tacoma parts. Those numbers vary, so we do not print them or borrow them.
No shared standard exists to put these on the same footing, and a missing number means not stated. For a comparison, Westin states "300 lbs. of weight capacity per side" for its Pro-e, a different kind of product. How much weight running boards can hold covers the maker figures we have read.
Reasons to buy
- Pages name the truck, years and cab
- A 1-year warranty is stated on the site and the product pages
- Pages state no cutting or drilling, with welded brackets
Reasons to skip
- Most pages we read state no load rating
- We read no install sheet, so no install times here
- Warranty terms are not spelled out on the pages we read
- YITAMOTOR and OEDRO share a store with no stated link
Warranty and returns
OEDRO's site lists "1-Year Warranty" and "30-Day Returns". The home and help pages we read give no terms for either, so we cannot tell you what is excluded, how a claim works, or who pays return shipping. If you order through Amazon, read the return terms on the listing as well.
Your truck's factory warranty is a separate question. Do running boards void your warranty? covers that one.
Who OEDRO suits, and what else to look at
OEDRO fits you if your truck is named on its page, you want a 6-inch step or a drop style, and you are comfortable with less paperwork than some makers offer. It is a weaker fit if you want a published install sheet and a load rating before you spend the money.
For a 2005-2023 Tacoma, these Tyger drop steps are the closest alternatives in our data, both titled for the Double Cab. Neither has a maker sheet we could read, so they are listing data as well. Read about the style on drop steps.

If paperwork decides it for you, best running boards starts from the parts where we read a maker sheet. Other trucks are under all trucks or in the truck picker, and how we verify fitment explains the rules used here. Check your exact year and cab on the listing before you buy.
Tailgate questions
Are OEDRO running boards any good?
We cannot give you a verdict from a test, because we run none and found no independent durability test of truck running boards. What we can compare is paperwork. OEDRO's pages name trucks, cabs and material and state a 1-year warranty. They do not give a load rating on most of the pages we read, and we read no install sheet.
What warranty do OEDRO running boards have?
OEDRO's site and the product pages we read list a 1-Year Warranty. The pages we read do not spell out what it covers or how to claim it, and we found no warranty document on those pages. Ask OEDRO for the terms in writing before you order if coverage matters to you.
How much weight can OEDRO running boards hold?
It depends on the page. OEDRO's page for one 2024-2026 Tacoma Double Cab part says it can support up to 450 lbs per side. Other OEDRO pages we read, including the 2005-2023 Tacoma drop step and the new-body Ram 1500 board, state no figure. Do not carry the number from one part to another.
Do OEDRO running boards need drilling?
OEDRO's pages say no. The pages we read use wording such as no cutting and drilling required, with welded brackets. That is the maker's product page, not an install sheet we read, and one of those pages also says professional installation is recommended. Ask for the sheet for your part if you plan to do the job yourself.
Is YITAMOTOR the same company as OEDRO?
We could not confirm that. YITAMOTOR-branded running boards are sold on oedro.com next to OEDRO-branded ones, and the pages we read do not explain how the two brands relate. Treat each listing by the brand and part it names, and do not assume a spec on one applies to the other.
