Running Boards for the F-150 Raptor: Which Listings Name the Raptor and Which Do Not

Only two sources we read name the F-150 Raptor: RealTruck's guide for the AMP PowerStep 76152-01A, for 2021-2026, and one Rough Country Amazon title. Ford's catalog titles, Westin's table and the fixed F-150 titles in our data do not. So a board sold for the F-150 is not a statement about your Raptor. Get the word Raptor in writing first.

Straight answer

Only if the source says so. RealTruck's AMP PowerStep 76152-01A guide reads All Cabs, Includes Raptor and Raptor R, for 2021-2026. A Rough Country title names Raptor in a 2015-2026 Crew Cab range. No fixed board title in our data names it, and neither do Ford's catalog titles. Check your exact year and cab on the listing before you buy.

What's on this page

Raptor owners get a raw deal in this category. Most listings and maker tables are written for the F-150 by cab and year, and the trim never comes up. Our F-150 overview notes that gap, and this page goes through it source by source.

Who names the Raptor

Read November 2, 2026. The wording is theirs, and we add nothing to it.

A "No" does not mean the part cannot go on a Raptor. It means nobody we read has said it can. Dealer fit tables we saw in search results do name the Raptor, but those are not maker documents, so they stay off this page.

Why you should not assume

Ford's 2026 sheet shows you why the trim is worth asking about. It lists the Raptor in its SuperCrew table with a 5.5-foot box, next to the standard truck:

Inches, from Ford's 2026 sheetSuperCrew 5.5-ft. box, 4x4Raptor 5.5-ft. box, 35-inch and 37-inch tire

Track width, front67.974.0 and 74.3
Track width, rear68.373.6 and 73.9
Ground clearance9.811.9 and 13.1

We do not use those numbers to work out fit, and neither should you. Some of them match and some do not, and no document we read says what any of it means for a step at the rocker. They do tell you the Raptor is not simply a plain F-150 with a badge, so you want the maker's word.

Ford uses SuperCrew on this truck, and the Rough Country title says Crew Cab. If those names trip you up, SuperCrew vs SuperCab on the F-150 sorts them out.

Power steps: the one maker statement we found

For a 2021-2026 Raptor, the AMP PowerStep 76152-01A is the only maker document we read that names your truck. Here is what RealTruck's guide says:

  • Board: 85 inches on a SuperCrew with no modification.
  • Mounting: linkages on the first and last sets of studs on the inner sill.
  • Drilling: a 1/8-inch pilot, then 19/64-inch through the pinch weld for the LED wires.
  • Wiring: a harness to the battery, an OBD II connection and wire taps at a module just above the e-brake pedal.
  • Job: 2-3 hours, skill level 4, professional installation recommended.
  • Warranty: the guide's warranty box and owner page say five years, and a footer on page 1 says three. Ask RealTruck which applies.

We hold no Amazon listing for 76152-01A, so ask a dealer or RealTruck for that part number. The wider picture by year is on F-150 power running boards, and the brand is on AMP Research.

The one Amazon title in our data that names your truck is this one:

Rough Country

Rough Country Power (Ford crew cab)

A powered step listed for Ford crew cabs, with LED lights and aluminum named in the title.

Why here: It is the only Amazon title in our data with the word Raptor in it. It names no part number and has no maker sheet we can tie to it.

Check your exact year and cab on the listing before you buy.

Why it makes the list

  • Title names LED lights, aluminum, years and cab

Watch out for

  • The title names no part number to check against a sheet
  • One range covers several trucks, and it reads F-150 Lightning and Raptor, so a plain F-150 owner should ask
  • Listing data only; no load figure is printed here

Best for: Ford crew cab owners who want a powered step and can confirm their truck with the seller first.

Listing data only: We only have the Amazon listing title for this one, no maker sheet. It is an option, not a recommendation.

Read that title carefully. It names the Lightning and the Raptor but not the plain F-150, it says Crew Cab, and it runs 2015-2026. The Rough Country sheet we read for a Ford crew cab kit does not use the word Raptor, and with no part number in the title we cannot tie the two together. So ask the seller which part ships and whether it has been confirmed for your year. Check your exact year and cab on the listing before you buy.

Raptor Series is not your Raptor

Raptor Series is a running board brand. Search for "raptor running boards" and you will see its parts mixed in with parts for the truck. A title that opens with Raptor may just be naming the maker, so go to the part of the title that names the truck and cab. Our how to check a listing fits page shows how to read a title in that order.

Step bars and rock sliders

"Raptor step bars" gets you the same problem: Ford's own step bar titles name the cab, not the trim. Ask your Ford dealer with your VIN whether a catalog part applies to your truck. For sliders, the word in a title proves little, so read rock sliders before you spend money on them. No document we read gives a rating for a slider on this truck, so we print none.

What to ask the seller

Copy this and send it:

  1. Does this part number fit a [year] F-150 Raptor SuperCrew? Please confirm in writing.
  2. Does the Raptor need different brackets or any trimming?
  3. Is your answer based on the maker's fit data or on the title?

If you get a yes, keep it with your order. Your truck's own coverage is a separate question, and do running boards void your warranty covers it. Other Ford trucks and cabs are under all trucks, and the rules we follow are on how we verify fitment. Nobody on this site has fitted any of these to a Raptor.

Tailgate questions

Do regular F-150 running boards fit a Raptor?

We cannot tell you they do, and we will not guess. The fixed F-150 titles in our data do not name the Raptor, and that silence is neither a yes nor a no. Ford's 2026 sheet gives the Raptor a different width and track from other SuperCrew trucks. Ask the seller for a written yes that names your year.

Do power running boards work on an F-150 Raptor?

RealTruck's guide for the AMP PowerStep 76152-01A lists all cabs for 2021-2026 and includes the Raptor and Raptor R. It states 2-3 hours, skill level 4 and professional installation recommended. We hold no Amazon listing for that part. One Rough Country title also names Raptor, with no part number.

Is Raptor Series the same as the Ford Raptor?

No. Raptor Series is a brand name on running boards, and the Raptor is a Ford trim. A listing that starts with the word Raptor may be telling you who made the part, not which truck it goes on. Read the part of the title that names the truck and the cab.

Are there rock sliders for the Ford Raptor?

Nothing in our Amazon data names the Raptor for a slider, and Ford's catalog titles for the F-150 do not either. Look at how a part mounts and what the maker publishes, because the word slider in a title does not settle that. Our rock sliders page explains what makes a slider a slider.
